This is a table and chair set that we bought at a garage sale a while back. It was a cream table with pink/peach chairs. I just sanded them down, and repainted them! Voila!
I was considering stripping this toybox, but a little Mr Clean magic white scrub, and it was good as new to me!
This corner is Josh's masterpiece! The corner in this room is a diagonal, so it made it especially hard to do this part! You're amazing, Babe!
So the story behind this idea, is: We have a friend in Princess playgroup that did her little girls room this way. I LOVED it, so I asked Josh to replicate it. What a project! It was a lot of hard work, and quite a few trips to Home Depot! We also painted the room purple. (Thanks to Amy for letting us copy!)
This bed is part of a bunk bed set that was Josh's when he was little. We inherited it, and I made it work for the girls' room. It was incredibly hard to strip it of the old brown on it! Thanks to Kristin for the stuff to make it all happen! ( and the skills!)
Kaley obviously LOVED her new room! She kept asking if it was time to go to bed yet. Note that it is still light outside! She keeps telling me that she will take good care of her new bed and new room.
We have yet to add Bella into the equation. She has been sick, and keeping her in the closet with the humidifier going. I bought some adorable pink bedding for Bella's bed too. So, as soon as I have the entire room completed, I will post pictures!
I have also been working on Thomas' room. I am making him a quilt for his bed. What a project! Needless to say, my vision is far beyond my skills! Josh's Mom is helping me get through it! Pictures to follow when complete. :)
So between painting, room re-arranging, sick kids, and other life happenings, I haven't had much time to blog! I am excited for this weekend though! I've got a stellar line-up of fun! Quilting, BYU Football, Twilight, and Primary! Should be fun! I am also working on a couple surprises for Kaley's birthday in a couple weeks!
