Wedding Bells are Ringing!

You read right! Tonight, Drew proposed to Emily and she said YES!!! They came by to visit the babies and share their news! We are so excited for them! Drew took Emily on a scavenger hunt to some of their "places" and proposed at the last spot with 4 dozen roses and a gorgeous ring! How could the girl refuse?! Date is TBA - but they are so in love!

On Our Own

So yesterday was our first day on our own! It is a good thing that I have such good big helpers! Kaley and Thomas LOVE to help feed the babies! It saves me when Bella just wants to be held! We survived yesterday and had a relatively good time. I had a wonderful quiet time (although it wasn't long enough!), and was able to chill for about an hour!

Today, Kaley helped me give the babies their baths and get them dressed and fed! What would I do without her?! She LOVES to help with anything the babies need! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful Kaley to be my 3rd and 4th arms! She is such a natural born nurturer! So, mostly thanks to Kaley, I am doing well! Josh is adjusting quite nicely to being the Dad and going to work to provide! He is glad to not have to be Mom AND Dad! Thomas is slowly adjusting. I think it will be a LONG process for him. He has taken this the hardest of the three. He may or may not be going to preschool this year. We are "taking a break" and will see how he is next week. Bella is happy as ever, and keeps us smiling every day! She is just a bundle of sunshine! We are enjoying this lovely weather! We have been able to go on bike rides and family walks! Oh, how we LOVE Fall!

Fun with Grandma

Two babies in one swing! It worked for a while...until Thomas tried to help them swing. It made me a little nervous. :)

The kids wanted to build a tent using Grandma's car. They had so much fun, but when Grandma went to leave, her car wouldn't start! Good thing Josh was home by then so he could jump start it!

Attack of the ducks!

On Wednesday, Mom and I were feeling a little crazy, so we packed all 5 kids in the car and headed to feed the ducks! We got out of the car, and we didn't even make it to the deck before all the ducks were swarming! It kinda freaked me out! I had a roommate at BYU that was terrified of birds, and I think I caught a glimpse of what she feels! :) We had to chase the ducks into the water and began feeding them from our safe spot high above them! The kids thought it was great!

TWO Babies!

These two are just too cute! We love having them in our family! We are adjusting to less sleep and more little bodies! :) The babies are so fun! Kaley, Thomas and Bella are such good helpers! They love to help in EVERY way! I am glad to have such good kids!

Immediately after Jace got home from the hospital, we gave him a bath to officially make him "ours." Babies smell so good after a bath!

When Grandma comes...

My Mom has been cleaning out her house like crazy, and found these old books on tape for kids! Today the kids had a lesson about cassette tapes. It makes me laugh to think that we don't own a tape player in our house! Grandma brought one from her house so the kids could listen to a couple stories on tape. They loved it! We do have a tape deck in our car, so maybe we can do this again on car rides!
