Wax Museum

In 5th grade, our kids do a Wax Museum. The kids get to choose what famous person they get to learn about.  Sophie came home and wanted to be a famous rock star.  I introduced her to a bunch of dead famous women singers and she was THRILLED to be Whitney Houston!  

Jace chose to be Henry Ford.  He made this awesome cardboard truck, complete with axels with the wheels!

Who knew Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson are best friends?!  Ha ha!

Also!  Thomas was in a Geography Bee!  He did great!  

A GREAT FHE!

I love working at the school! I get to see my kids at recess - this picture proves that Jace and Soph really DO acknowledge each other during the day! They were playing Revenge together.

We had such a fun FHE this week!  We listened to the Face to Face on Sunday, and then made our own Goal Boards with the 4 sections: Social, Physical, Intellectual and Spiritual.  We had poster boards and a million magazines.  We made our goals and then cut out pictures to go with them.  We listened to Christmas music and just crafted for a couple hours.  It was so fun!

November Fun!

Jace had to make a musical instrument for a scout requirement.  This is what he came up with!

I subbed my Zumba class at our stake center when Fallon, Kristie and Roxy were gone!  It was so fun!

Kaley had Young Women In Excellence night.  

We cleaned up leaves and put up Christmas lights on Saturday.

We started basketball!  These boys are so fun to watch!

Kaley had her end of season Soccer Banquet.

We made a chain link countdown for our trip in January!

We did a little shopping at the outlets and had to take a picture by the giant tree!
