Thankful

I watched President Nelson's talk to the world from school in the guided reading library. He talked to us about being thankful, and asked us to flood social media with all the things we are grateful for.

Everybody needs a Kaley in their life! When this girl is bored, she cleans!  

Thankful for all the machines in my life that make my life easier!













Thanksgiving this year was totally different.  We were supposed to go to Idaho, but with the covid numbers, the Utah people ended up not going. So Danielle and I decided to just have Thanksgiving together at my house. 

Then the morning of, I had been feeling a weird chest feeling - like I had run really hard. So I called Dani and told her we probably shouldn't get together.  I had a hunch that maybe it was Covid. I didn't go get tested, but we just acted like that's what it was and hunkered down. 

While we waited for dinner to cook, we took naps.

It was fun to just have our family doing all the prep. 











Our "pies" were peanut butter bars, yogurt pie and oreo ice cream pie. 

The people ate treats the next day like they wouldn't have their taste or smell! My taste and smell had left by Friday. :(

We spent Friday decorating the house!

We seriously have had SO much time together! Gov Herbert had made a 2 week don't interact with anyone from outside your home, so we have pretty much just hung out with us.  I've loved all this extra TIME with these people I love so much!

We’ve been painting!

We had our traditional Thankful FHE lessons this week and wrote our things that we're thankful for on a giant paper pumpkin this year instead of a tree.

My BYU roomie like a sister, Linz, heard that my girls were totally loving painting and she offered to bring them some watercolor painting stuff.  We started watching youtube tutorials and Soph is hooked!

For some morale boosting on Saturday, we went to In N Out!  Our first time!!!  









We put up a pull up bar in our home gym!  I am going to learn how to do a pull up!!!





There was an epic nerf battle in the basement one night.





A really hard puzzle was finished!  It was a 2,000 piece puzzle!
