Jace and Soph had a lemonade stand one day. Cool story: Our neighborhood is not all the way complete, like roads and infrastructure. So this Summer, they started working on putting in the roads. One of the dump truck drivers stopped at the twins' stand, and got a couple cups of lemonade. Jace and Soph didn't have change - so the nice lady gave them a $20 for her couple of cups! There are such NICE people out there! I just love that "Be the Good" phrase - she really was the GOOD for these two that day! They were thrilled!
We spent more time on the tree house! It is looking good!!!
This was a really good thunder/lightning storm one Saturday. We all went out and danced and played in the rain!
Oooh. August was an expensive month for appliances. Our washer died and so did the dishwasher. Boo! We had a repairman come out to look at them, but he said they really weren't built to be repaired, just replaced. It was $400 for the washer and $200 for the dishwasher to repair, so we opted to buy new ones.
Gotta love cleaning behind and under the washer/dryer!
This was a rare time that all 5 kids were there for this meal! I don't even remember if it was a lunch or dinner, but it was rare!
Everybody went to go play with friends, but Soph didn't want to. We just swam in the pool by ourselves and the read our books on the tramp. She's a fun buddy to have!
Kaley got her official jersey and backpack for HS soccer! Doesn't she look SO grown up?!?!
With all the work we've done on our tree house, we've also been burning tree branches we've cut down. Josh was using the blower to stoke up the fire.
Even Kaley helped! After a hard Saturday of work, we hopped in the pool for a night swim! Well, they did... not me! It was too chilly by then for me!
Jace earned his Bear scout rank!
One day, we went with Jessi and Syd out to Mona Reservoir to play! The weather looked good when we left, but it steadily declined as we played. It got cloudy and then the wind kicked up like crazy! Before too long, we were loading up and trying to get out of there! It was certainly a fun adventure though! Note to self for next time: the grassy weeds in the water get clogged in the wave runners. Next time, just bring kayaks!

Oh how I love these ladies! Haley - on the left - is a newly returned missionary! She was one of my YW. I am so proud of her! And McKinley - on the right - just started her mission as a service missionary at the church office building. Oh my heart could have burst this day at church! They came to visit me after Primary. YW is a gift that just keeps on giving! I told them that this was the BEST thing - to see my YW following the Savior and making good choices! They are TRYING! Oh it just made me so happy!
Book Club! We read Rebecca, and had a tea party with scones for our treat! I sure love these ladies! What awesome examples and fun friends they are!
T went in for his 2nd braces appointment, and got colors put on! Guess what color? BLUE.
Kaley had a game up in Brigham City, so our Malad cousins came down to watch!
She is having TOO much fun!
