BYU PLC

Last weekend, we got to spend with Papa and Grandma at BYU for PLC. This is a family event that BYU holds for their PLC - President's Leadership Council - couples and their families.  It kicks off Thursday night with a big Cougar Fan Fest - which we had to miss because of Kaley's last Soph soccer game; Dinner, and then a performance.  We were able to make it in time for the performance!  They had the BYU Dunk Team, Noteworthy, Vocal Point, Young Ambassadors, and the Ballroom Dance Team, oh, and the Cougarettes!  It was so fun!  

Friday morning, we hiked the Y bright and early!  We got there at 7, and were done about 8/8:30.  They feed you breakfast up there too.  So much fun!  It was a stunning hike with all the fall colors turning just right!  I loved watching the valley wake up and that sunrise!!!

Starting at 9, they had 3 activities that you had to sign up to do.  We chose to start with How to be a Concessionaire!  We learned how to make Cougar Tails - they are the really loooong maple bar kind of donuts, and they are the best!

Next, we went to Weekend Warriors and Wannabes.  We played with football players and just hung out in their indoor practice facility.  That place is so cool!  They did races with the kids, kicked field goals, and jumped on these blow up pads.

Kaley kicked two field goals!

This was my favorite part!  Jace challenged 3 football players to a push up contest!  They were all pretty impressed with his skills!  I took a video, and they said, "Don't show that video to our coach!"  Because he really did show them up!  Then J showed off his 6 pack, and they were pretty worried he was going to steal their girlfriends. ;)  

Our last activity was at the Bean Museum. We saw all kinds of creepy crawly things!

I tell you, we ate those Cougar Tails all. day. long. 

We went bowling downstairs and then walked around through the BYU Bookstore.  It's crazy how much they've done to it in the past years!

We always love hanging out at BYU as a family!  We are so thankful for Papa and Grandma and all their contributions to BYU. They are so generous and kind! Thank you Papa and Grandma!!!
