Kaley's Birthday Celebration Weekend!!!

 Kaley's birthday celebrations started on Friday night when Grandma and Grandpa came down for dinner and presents.  Presents are a big thing around here, as you can tell from the picture.  I love how they all were gathered around Kaley.

 Kaley just loves clothes right now, so Grandma bought her a couple new shirts and sparkly jeans.  They were a hit!

 Thank you to Grandma, Pop Pop, Na-Na(Danielle) and Ya-Ya(Clarissa) for coming down for the party!  

 Saturday was a whole new day of FUN!  We got our Christmas tree in the morning, and then I took Kaley out for a date.  We went to the mall and had our favorite breadsticks and sauce for lunch.  Then we shopped a little.  She wanted to go to Claire's (a really cute jewelry store that we never can go in with the whole crew).  She picked out some stick-on earrings for her "find of the day."  :)

 We came home from our date and decorated our tree!  

 Can you believe I have SEVEN stockings on my fireplace?!?!?!  It STILL catches me off guard!  It looks so homey and sweet.  

 This year we put lights INSIDE the house for the babies (and Mommy) to enjoy.  These are the ones in our family room.  We have some going up the banister on the stairs as well.

 Our finished Christmas tree - decorated from 3 feet up.  :)  The babies still love to attack the lights, but it's only for a few weeks.  I can do this...I can do this...Think positive thoughts!  

 Still Saturday...That night, the Coxes came down for a pizza party and ice cream.  Kaley was seriously spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa!  They took her to Maceys and let her pick out all the toppings for our ice cream sundaes!  Wow, they were delish!

 Sunday morning, Kaley opened her presents from Mom, Dad and her siblings.

 I couldn't decide which of these cute kids pics to put on, so I added them all!  My kids are so silly!  Everyone was relatively happy to be there, except Jace.  He is mad.  

 Some of the birthday girl!  She is excited to go with Mom and get her pictures taken for her 6 year pictures.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate, and we can do it this week!

 Kaley's cake.  She drew me a picture of what she wanted it to look like this year, and I did my best.  There is frosting all around the cake.  Those were the orders!  :)  The only thing I couldn't swing was the life size barbie doll she wanted in the middle.  *shrug* maybe next time.

Can you believe this girl turned 6 today?!  I sure can't!  This is just one of the many photos of our Birthday Weekend with Kaley Lynn.  There will be many more tomorrow I'm sure, but for now, just this one.  Me and my Girl.

I really can't think of life without my sweet Kaley.  She is my biggest helper, loudest giggler, silliest sister, and first girlfriend!  :)  She has been looking forward to her birthday for the LONGEST time!  I hope that it was everything she hoped it would be!

I am so thankful to have Kaley in our family!  She is a wonderful first-born, and a treat to her parents and siblings!

Misc.

 The week of Thanksgiving, I went to help in Kaley's class for their Pilgrim/Indian Feast.  We had so much fun!  (These are all pictures from my phone.)

 My group made cheese and olive toothpick sticks.

 I made the rolls for our Thanksgiving dinner this year.  As you can tell from this picture, I had LOTS of help.  I love Jace's perfect handprint in the flour.  Priceless.  

 This is a sweet picture of Bella taking a snooze in Kaysville the day after Thanksgiving.  She just passes out for nap times.  Such a sweet heart.

 I just love throwing all my kids in the tub.  They have so much fun together when they're wet!  :)  

 Bella loves to read books by herself.  She will sit and look at books for hours.  She doesn't always like to listen to them if Mom or Dad is reading them, but she loves doing it by herself.  

 I don't think people understand what it entails to take the 15 month old babies in for their well child check up.  This week, it was pretty much chaos.  :)  I had to take a picture to document my insanity.  Keep in mind that we read books in the outside waiting area for 20 minutes before we got back to the room.  Then they all consumed a Ziploc baggie of Marshmallow mateys, a sleeve of crackers and 3 bags of fruit snacks.  During the twins' immunizations, they all had a sucker.  By the end, I have THREE bored kids, TWO screaming babies, and ONE tired, sweaty, frazzled mom!  :)

I am amazed how differently these two are built!  I was looking back at Kaley, Thomas and Bella at 15 months, and Jace and Thomas are pretty comparable.  Kaley, Bella and Sophie however, are SO different!  I thought Bella was tall at this age, but Sophie puts her to shame!  Sophie is 4 INCHES taller than Kaley at 15 months, and 2 INCHES taller than Bella at 15 months.  I think it is safe to say that she got Pop Pop's genes!  We joke that the baby of our family will be the tallest in our family!  It may not be too far from the truth!  Either way, these two babes have our hearts!  They are so much fun right now.  Their BIG personalities are shining through, and we can't get enough!  

We are looking forward to the BIG birthday celebration this weekend for our Kaley Lynn.  She is so excited to be 6 years old that she can't stand it!  Sometimes I just want a "pause" button on this girl.  She is growing up WAY too fast!  Check back soon for birthday pictures!

Thanksgiving

 This year, we spent Thanksgiving day with my family.  We brought the Wii and taught Pop Pop how to play Wii golf.  I think it was a hit!  The kids always love to play the Wii.  

 Kaley and Thomas made place tags for everyone this year.  They looked so cute in little kindergarten handwriting!

 Jace and Sophie LOVED all the food!

 Friday, we went up to K-Town for some post Thanksgiving fun!  We had a good time playing at the church and eating yummy left-overs.
