Field Trip Friday

 Friday was a fun day!  I went on a field trip with Kaley's class first thing in the morning.  They walked over to the police station.  

 We listened to Officer Robinson tell us about all the things he carries with him on his uniform.  My favorite was when he asked the kids what his baton was called, and one little boy called it a "whack.  To whack the bad guys."

Next was a trip with Thomas' preschool class to the park for a Signs of Spring walk and picnic.  

We had to laugh at all the strollers and kids there!  It was a really nice day!  This is just so typical at our park.  Usually my stroller is one of them!

Then, after naps, I took the kids on a field trip of our own.  We walked to the park with some friends and played for a while.  It was perfect weather, and much needed time outside!

Catching up

 Due to the blahs of late coming Spring, I have not felt like blogging!  But, I still have taken pictures...  So here is a quick update on what has been going on since last week.  The twins are crazy.  I love seeing them grow and learn new things every day!  They love to wear things on their heads, arms, legs, anywhere really!  Here are a few.  

 Last Saturday, G and G Cox, Trish and Jar came down to take the kids out for ice cream and to see Tangled at the Dollar Theater.  They had a blast!  Josh and I took the babies and went shopping.  I came out of it with 6 new shirts, 2 camis, and a new swimsuit.  :)  Good day.  

 More hats :)  Josh got these cute beanies from the Jazz game a couple weeks ago.  The twins love them! We think Jace looks like one of the bugs off of A Bug's Life movie.  

 Bells had to have her picture taken too. :)

 Bella is such a good big sister to these two.  She loves to read them stories, and they love to listen!  I find them like this quite often!  

 I decided it was time to try again with the bows in Sophie's hair.  It is hard because she is not usually the one that pulls out the hair thing, it is JACE!  He can see it, and he wants it!  Funny kids.

 Wednesday, we went to the BYU library, a monthly event.  :)  I just love how excited the kids are to see Lyss and Dani.  

 Then, we have been saving our bread ends for about a month waiting for a nice day to feed the ducks.  The kids loved it!  They all stand on the bench - to keep a little higher from the ducks.  Lyss is carefully placed BEHIND the bench.  :)  These ducks are quite scary!  They are not timid AT ALL!  

 Jace and Sophie loved it too!  They were really getting into throwing the bread for the ducks.  That was after Jace and I had a talk about NOT eating the bread.  :)

 I L.O.V.E. love this one!  

 Jace and Sophie also love playing with the orange car.  It is a great outside toy for them.  We are lucky that our neighbor has one too, so they don't usually fight over it.  :)

 I had to laugh at Thomas last night before showers.  He didn't have a stitch of clothing on, other than his train conductor hat.  He just makes me laugh!  

There you have it!  Tomorrow, I will blog about ALL the fun I had today!  I went on 2 field trips, walked to the park, and played in the SUN all day!!!  I am pleased to say that I have my first "sunburn/soon to be tan" pink-ness of the season!  Here's to SPRING!!!!
