Ladybug

The other day, we walked to get Kaley from school.  The twins were up early from their naps, so we left quite early to enjoy a long walk on the trail.  I brought my camera to try to take a few pictures of the signs of Spring.  :)

 While Thomas was off climbing a tree, a ladybug flew on Jace.  He watched it for a minute before he started getting nervous.  Once it got to his face, he was done.  

 Sophie immediately took over, and let it crawl all over her.  She just loved watching it, and I just loved taking pictures of her exploring her world!  I love all their curious faces and cute pudgy hands.  Ignore the dirt/lunch/snacks/snot on their faces.  I can't seem to keep them clean.  :)

 I absolutely love these trees that are flowering right now.  They are all over the town!  

 By the end of the fifteen minutes with Sophie, our ladybug friend was looking kind of sad.  :)  He still crawled, but got stuck on his back quite a bit. 

It is so fun to have twins right now through this stage of their life.  They love to explore and learn together.  It makes life that much more exciting to have a buddy to go through it with!  And Momma doesn't mind taking the pictures of their double fun!  :)

Conference Weekend

 Here are a few pictures from our Conference Weekend activities.  The kids did really good watching Conference this time.  

 Josh played Legos with Josh for a bit.  

 Saturday night we met Mom, Lyss, Dani and Emily for a girls night while our boys were at Priesthood.    We ate dinner at Sweet Tomatoes and then hit the mall.

 We saw the dad from Sister Wives there with one of his wives.  We had to sneakily take a picture.  :)  

 We mocked the styles at Forever 21.  I just don't get that store!  

 We let the kids play at the little play place.

Park Days

These kids melt my heart.  We love to go to the park often.  Jace and Sophie can't decide if they love to swing more, or slide more.  So we stay for a long time and do it all!  :)  Enjoy our Spring smiles - and just know that my kids faces are rarely clean.  It's a battle I'm getting tired of fighting.  :)

 We have been going on lots of walks when Josh gets home from work.  Jace loves to hold hands when he walks.  He will hold on to mine or Josh's hand and then ask, "Who will hold my other hand?"  Someone always latches on.  Then he asks, "Who will hold your other hand?"  By then end, we are all holding hands, tightly squeezing on our trail path.  :)  We love our family.

Crafts Completed

 We are always making crafts, or bringing things we made home from school.  I really wanted a little place to display the kids art work but have it be out of reach of the twins.  I decided to just string some twine from the wall in the kitchen.  I love the way it looks!  I will always have seasonal kids art work hanging in my kitchen now!  Just how I want it!  :)

The other thing I've been working on is my earring holder.  I have SO many earrings, but I don't wear half of them because they were just scattered on my shelf in the closet.  So I saw this idea on Pinterest, and I made it my own.  I bought these frames in a 2 pack from Shopko on clearance for $7.  I took the pictures out of them, and took out the glass.  I spray painted them hot pink.  I found some scrapbook paper that I liked, and bought some small chicken wire stuff at Cal Ranch.  (I think it's actually a type of construction wire, but it was with the chicken wire stuff.)  Josh helped me staple gun all the things in and together.  He attached wall hangy things on the back, and Walla!  I LOVE it!  I need a couple of hooks for my necklaces now.  They are just hanging from a hanger.  :)

 Since my little earrings don't hang, I just bought this little pencil holder from the dollar store and hooked them on to it.  I love the look of it.

Life

Wow - it has been a while since I blogged!  That is a good sign usually - that means the weather is nice enough that I don't want to be a the computer!  :)  I have been trying to sneak a few minutes here and there to blog, so this post has been a few days in the making.  :)  These are the random pictures from off my phone.

Lunch with a few of my favorite people.  We met for dinner - cuz Kjersta was in town - at Zuppas at 6:30, and I didn't get home until 10!  :)  These are ladies that know SO much about me, and still LOVE me!  :)  We have lived, cried, played and laughed together.  It is not common to have friends that you can not see for months at a time, but when you get together, you still laugh like sisters and share everything like roommates.  We sincerely missed our Olson - can't wait for MAY!!!!  It is so fun to have these girls in my life!

Me and Jace

A while back, our neighbor texted us and said her broom was standing on it's own!  We tried it, and what do you know? Ours did too!!!  We snapped a few pictures of the occasion.  It was something about the Earth's alignment with the planets...  ???  Whatever it was, it was SUPER cool!  

It is a well known thing on our street that my kids just get hurt a lot.  We are outside all the time, and I have VERY active and busy kids.  Here are a couple of pics of the latest bonks and bruises.  :)  Thomas' spill off the motor scooter.  

Jace's divit from his scooter fall.  This one probably could have used stitches, but I just slathered some Neosporin on it and covered it with a bandaid.  :)  Problem solved.  

The kids LOVED this giant teddy bear at Costco.  They each wanted one to take home.  :)  I think it weighed as much as Jace!
