Hogle Zoo

While the boys golfed on Saturday, I took the kids to the Zoo with Grammie and Danielle.  This was the first time without a stroller at the Zoo!!!  Jace and Sophie had so much fun actually seeing the animals from a "big kid" point of view instead of through the fence.  It was so fun!

 See how far away Bells is from the elephant?  Notice how far away Kaley is?  Oh that's right, she wouldn't even stand by it!  

 The gorilla never disappoints.  :)

 We watched an elephant show where they showed how they train the elephant and what kinds of things they check for.  

 Of course, we hit the Bird Show.  

 Jace loved the Reptile House aka The Stinky House now that he can climb up on the rails to see the up high ones!

 The tiger was swimming!  Jace was thrilled!

 Rizzo, the polar bear, was sleeping when we got to Rocky Shores.  Eventually, she got up and walked around a bit.  

 She did plop into the water for one lap around the pool before getting right back out and resting again. :)

T Last Soccer Pics

Thomas really enjoyed soccer this season.  He started really understanding the rules and liking the running of it.  He is a good little defender and usually ends up down by the goal just to help out.  

 Thomas spent his fair share on the grass though.  All the boys like to slide and trip and fall all over the ball.  It just made us laugh!

 These three got pretty good at just playing while Mom and Dad watched the game.

Where's Daddy Been?

Maybe some of you are wondering what the Daddy in our life is up to these days.  He has enjoyed a bit of Fall golfing.  He went a couple weekends ago with some friends from the neighborhood.  The Fall colors were brilliant!  He just got a new iPhone, so he loved taking pictures up there.

 It really was impressive!

Also, Josh is my hero on Wednesdays.  I have 4 piano students that come from 3-5 that day.  He comes home early, at 4, and takes the kids and plays with them. This day, he took them to a park.  Sometimes, he takes them on bike rides, or just hangs out in the backyard with them.  Whatever he does, they love him more for it!  

 Josh went to a Luau as part of Youth Conference for the ward.  They had this yummy looking pig.  Really though, I almost threw up when Josh sent me this picture in a text.  I don't think there's any way I could've eaten it!  He really is having fun in Scouts and is getting the hang of it!

 Last weekend, the Putnam Boys all went golfing.  Uncle Robert was in town, so Jordan, Drew, Dave and Josh (with a couple others I think) went to play.  I took the kids and went to the Zoo with Grammie and Danielle.  (More on that later.)

There you have it!  Our Daddy stays busy!  He makes the dough during the week, and still has time to play and have fun!  What a wonderful Guy I married!
