After we opened presents for Thomas' birthday, we headed up to Sandy to celebrate some more! T wanted to golf for his birthday, so Josh took him and Jace and met up with Pops at a golf course! They got a cart and everything! They even got a Slurpee afterward! Best. Day. Ever.

Meanwhile, I took the girls and went to Emily's baby shower at her sister Erin's house in Herriman.
After our separate fun, we got back together and headed as far west as we possibly could to ride the Rhino with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma made Thomas a BYU blanket for his birthday - his special request. :)
Then it was sand, dirt, sun and cousin fun for the afternoon! I love these pictures!!!

Middle of nowhere, clear out west!
There was a super nice girl there that was flying a kite. She brought over an extra one for our kids to fly. It was just the right amount of wind to keep it high!
While Cam and Rach were on a ride, I held the baby and she felt asleep in my arms!!! Best feeling. I tell ya, between the family, the sun, and a baby in my arms, it was a pretty darn great day! :)
Grandma and Grandpa had to get back home around 4:15, so we all parted ways then. We went home, had dinner (homemade Cafe Rio), and had Thomas' cake. He wanted a sports cake this year, and this is what I came up with. All that matters is that Thomas loved it!
What a handsome kid! I am still trying to find the time to take this boy out to take some pictures of him. They will come soon. Such a fun birthday day! I'm sure he won't forget it anytime soon!
