We went to Island Park this year for Spring Break! We were all packed up and ready to go Wednesday morning, and then we noticed our all-the-way flat tire! Josh used our air compressor to put some air in it, and we headed to Big-O in town. They were SO nice and quickly got us in, with 2 new tires for the front. They were both pretty bald. Then off we went! Danielle and Dave were coming with us too. We met in Malad, after seeing Teeples new home, for lunch.
We looked like quite the circus! I'm sure they were glad when we left! ;)
This cabin trip was more like a Winter IP trip. We did puzzles, watched movies, played games, and ate ourselves silly!

We went outside to see a beautiful IP sunset. They never disappoint! The kids loved tromping around in the snow. Crunch, crunch, SINK!

We found this skeleton of something in the driveway to the cabin. Ew.
One of the days, it was nice enough to go for a walk around the island. We were all pretty happy to get ourselves moving.
The kids walked along every snow bank, and crushed every ice chunk along the way.

Almost home! The littlest legs were tuckered out! It is about 2 miles around the island!
We tried to go to Mesa Falls - it was closed. We tried to go to Big Springs - it was closed. So we ended up at the Dam! More ice chunks, lots of snow and room to run!
The big boys threw rocks into the river - we were laughing at their identical form!

I brought a few crafts and activities to do since I knew it would be a mostly inside vacation. This was our egg painting with little puff balls and clothespins.

Dave brought his xbox - we played some seriously funny games till way too late in the night! It was a good work out for sure! Mostly just from laughing!
I just loved all the family together time! It was so nice to have Danielle and Dave and their kids there with us! I'm so glad that they are always up for an adventure!
