September Labor Day and Chipotle fun!

For Labor Day, we went up to Payson Lake to kayak around and fish for T.  It was such a warm day, and the water felt so nice!

Chipotle had a soccer night - where if you wore your soccer jersey, you could get BOGO free!  Since this is my newest food obsession, I was THRILLED!  I just love their chips!  Yum!

Family Pictures!

Oh, just so you know, I am NOT happy or pleased or anything with how these turned out.  There was ONE. One picture that I liked, and it wasn't my favorite.  It'll just have to do for now.  I set a date for family pictures for the end of August. I came to the realization that I don't really LOVE Fall pictures with Fall colors or anything.  I really am more of a Summer sun kinda girl.  I wanted the Summer greens, and sunflowers.  Welp, didn't really get that either.  I guess family pictures aren't always perfect.  We drove up to Sundance - where I loved the bridges, little waterfall and pond, and the green trees.  I liked what we wore... I think...  My camera was having a hard time connecting to my new phone remote, so I just had to use the timer. Strike 1.  Since I couldn't use my remote app, it made it so almost all of the pictures were not in focus.  That's like my biggest pet peeve!!!!  BAHHHH.  Strike 2. 

When we got up there to Sundance, there was some concert or something so it was super crowded. Strike 3. We hiked around - which meant that our lighting was not ideal. We were hot and sweaty from hiking around to find a less busy spot.  Anyway - I didn't love it, and I don't know if I'll blow these up big or anything, but it captured where we are at.  

The other hard thing is the different sizes of my kids!  They are all getting so tall!  It's hard to find new poses for 7 with 5 tall people.  

Oh, and don't even get me started on the kids that can't stand by each other!  You'll notice that any time T is by B, he is physically trying to get farther away from her.  It's so annoying!  And, because I didn't have my app, I couldn't see that until I went back to the camera to look at the tiny version of it on the screen.  It's just hard to orchestrate a picture from running back and forth from camera to spot as mom.  Ok. Rant over.  Try to enjoy these pictures - that's what I've done! ;)

August Part 4 - BIG 10 Birthday & First Day of School!

The twins' birthday was on the first day of school this year.  We got up early to celebrate!  Opened a few presents - the kids got their big presents early, so there were only a couple things to open.

These two LOVE board games!  Seriously, they could play every day!

They also loved Legos!  We got them a bigger Harry Potter set to do together.

This year, I could only go to one day of Education week, but I met up with Chelle and made a new friend and went!  It was wonderful!  What an uplifting and encouraging day!

Pops and Grammie came to the BHS vs SFHS game!  It's CRAZY that my daughter played my high school!  WHAT?!?!?  This year has officially aged me!  

We are entering a whole new world of texting with Kaley having a phone!  Boys started texting her and Josh started texting back.  We had a good laugh at this soccer game!  I'm sure it is a parenting moment I won't soon forget!

I felt this way ALLL Summer.  And then again that first day of school!  Raising kids and being a Momma is hard!

We had a last family swim and party for the twins' birthday at the end of August.  My mom made cakes!  The kids loved them.  Soph has a pretty intense Paris, France obsession right now. This girly Eiffel tower cake was perfect!

Jace is just a sports guy!  Donovan Mitchell Jazz cake was the ticket for him!

That about does it!  Summer 2019 is in the books!
