Thomas is NINE years old! Where oh where has time gone!? My chubby little bubba is now a stinky, sweaty, crazy BOY!!! He's always been those things, but these are just way more noticeable now! T is my super sweet, smart, book loving, sport playing son. Thomas fights me almost daily about practicing the piano, but does it anyway so he can play with friends and do sports. The key with T is to find songs he wants to play! We are loving the Lego song Everything is Awesome, and Cops and Robbers right now. He will even be playing at the school Talent Show!!! What?! He tried out on his own!!!
So here's T's special day! We had birthday dinner on Sunday - homemade cafe rio salads with a divine oreo cake. On his birthday, we opened presents and went to Chuck A Rama for dinner with the family.

New mitt - he went with Josh to pick it out on Saturday, so he knew it was coming! He also had played with it a little all weekend. "Just a random mitt we had sitting around!"
T also got tennis balls, wall balls, wiffle balls, batting gloves and golf tees. Can you tell what he likes to do?! BE OUTSIDE!!!
Then a little later on his birthday, Soph had t-ball practice and Josh and T were playing catch. Thomas caught the ball with his forehead, and the ball left a sweet mark! Look at those laces!
He was the talk of the school the next day - he said he had to tell his story like 40 times during the day! I guess baseball stitching marked onto your head is a pretty cool thing! His 9 year old pictures are going to be epic. ;)
