Tuesday, we went to Short Sands to play on the beach for the morning. It was a beautiful little cove with stunning views of the mountains. We had to hike through the mountains to get to this little gem. Little Taft ran ahead and got himself lost (just waiting for us at the bottom of the trail), but it game KJ a heart attack! KJ was so good - she let the boys skip school to come play with us that day!
See that waterfall coming right out of the mountain, onto the beach?! Amazing!
KJ had to go back to pick up her girls from school, so we just drove down the coast a little bit to see this view, and visit Manzanita beach.
It was pretty foggy at Manzanita, but we still enjoyed ourselves! Hello! It was still a beach!
Aaron let us take the skim board, so the kids took turns.
And of course, chasing seagulls.
