We drove down to a spot I had read about called Thor's Well. Some of the reviews on Google sounded a little risky, but we were up for it! It was a tiny trail down the mountain to the cliff. (I was snoozing for a minute in the car) :)
This really was such a cool spot! I think about it all the time! The sound of the crashing water against the rocks was so cool.
This part to the side was called Sprouting Horn - when the waves came in just right with force, water sprouted up from a whole in the rocks. All the boys ran down there to check it out!

Then there's the coolness of Thor's Well! The waves crash over it, fill it up and then gush down. It was mesmerizing!

He had to get right up on the edge to check it out! (That's where Google claimed it was pretty risky!)

After our excitement at Thor's Well, we hit up (read: overwhelmed) a little ice cream shoppe. Look at all those kids!!! This may be one of my favorite pics from the whole trip!
We were trying to hit Seal Rock at low tide, but we ended up getting there just a bit too early. There are cool tide pools here, but you have to get there at a really low tide.
We still had fun exploring around the beach and playing!
It did rain on us a bit out there too - thank goodness for big rocks to huddle under til it passed!
Dinners at our condo! We would eat breakfast together in the mornings, pack a lunch and then gather for dinner at night.
We let the kids have a "late night" party with games and popcorn that night.
This is when I started getting sad that our trip was really coming to an end! We would start the trek home in the morning!
