Playing!

 We went to a park in Orem last week for fun!  The kids loved playing around and meeting new friends.  

 We packed a picnic lunch too!  (I did the girls' hair different this day.  I borrow a 3 barrel crimping iron from my mom, and tried it on the girls.  They loved it!)

 Later that day...Thomas crashed on his bike and got a pretty nice shiner.  His eye lid is still pretty black today.  

 Friday, I tried crimpy hair on me....This was the text to my girlfriends first thing in the morning to make sure that it looked good.  Sometimes you just need a girl's opinion!  

 Friday was also "Fry-day", so we walked to Wendy's!  I kept thinking about that Subway guy that only ate Subway sandwiches for like a year and lost weight because he walked there and back for the meal.  Maybe that will work on fries and frostys too.  :)  

 Friday afternoon, we went up to Sandy to stay the night for fun!  Thomas and Josh went on a Father's and Sons camping trip, and we decided to have some fun too!  My mom had a yard sale Saturday morning, so we helped her out!  Kaley was a good treat seller!  It was mighty chilly in the morning, but once that sunshine came out, it was a LOVELY day!

Mow Mow Momma

 Jace has become obsessed with the lawn mower these days.  The other day, I had him help me mow part of the back yard, and he loved it!

Mish Mash

 What you are about to see is a "mish mash" (as Kaley calls it) of pictures from phone and camera of things that we have been doing.  I have not really felt like blogging lately, first because it was so rainy and I was depressed about it.  And not now, because it's NOT been raining, and I want to be OUTSIDE!!  :)    

So, the picture above is from Kaley.  The Primary asked the kids to draw pictures for the covers of the program for Sacrament Meetings.  I thought it was a great idea!  Kaley drew President Monson speaking with her, Thomas and Bella listening.  :)

Next, this is my view when we go on walks.  The twins are not loving keeping their shoes on lately.  They love to let those toesies fly free!  Too cute!

Remember how our computer hard drive crashes and all was lost?  Then remember how we sent the hard drive to Florida and they couldn't save it?  Then remember how we sent it some where else (I can't remember where) and they said it would cost $2000 to retrieve data, and it might not even be the stuff that we wanted the most?  Well, on a whim, Josh was talking to a neighbor about it and he offered to take a look at it.  What could it hurt?  So Sam (now known as The Wizard), looked at it, and within a day or two, he retrieved ALL our data from our hard drive!!!!  So, we babysat their twin girls for a bit one evening, in addition to sending over brownies, and homemade bread!  I think we may be forever in their debt though!  To think it could have cost us $2000!!!  Anyway, the picture is of all kids playing nicely.  We caught a tiny glimpse of what triplets then twins would have looked like.  :)  Their girls are the same age as Bella.  

 Sugar cookies are always a hit at my house.  Now that I have found a recipe that I love (go HERE if you need one).  Thomas requests them for any time we need to bring a treat to something.  :)

 A couple Saturdays ago, we played on the tramp with the kids.  They had so much fun.  I even showed them my "tricks."  Yeah, I can jump and land on my back, then bounce back up.  I know you're all impressed.  :)

 Playing "dead man"

 So remember how we got a BIG load of dirt a few weeks ago.  Well alot of it is still there.  We haven't been able to finish all our projects due to the bipolar weather here.  So it is a neighborhood ramp/dirt box/hill to dig in.  I know my babies love it!  I just can't believe how dirty they get in it though!

 They are SO silly!

 Last week, we had our friends come down and play at our house.  I got out the paint stuff, and we were artists!  

 This is Izzy's first time painting!  She was SO very focused!

 I even let Jace and Sophie paint.  I know it's washable paint and all, but I get lazy!  I just haven't ever wanted to let them just have at it.  But they loved it, and were so good!  

 We're getting there....almost caught up!  These are from Friday night.  We went up to Kaysville for one of Josh's cousin's Wedding shower.  They have couples showers for the cousins, and we just love them! The kids wore themselves out playing in Hirschi's/Jones' backyards!  

 We spent the night at Coxes, and enjoyed late night chats with everyone after our kids were in bed.  It was so nice!  We played the next morning in the big backyard.  We had so much fun!

 We dug out some of Dad's quakie starts and transplanted them to our back corner!  We hope they make it!  :)  We are having so much fun decided what we want to put back in this new BIG flower bed!

 I have a friend who is over-the-moon creative.  Her "thing" is that she can buy anything at DI or Savers or a yard sale, and turn it into a WORK OF ART!  So, I took a page out of her book for these.  :)  I really wanted flower pots on my front porch, but they are SO pricey.  Even the cheap ones.  So I found these cute baskets at DI, and spent $7 for the pair.  I bought some spray paint ($4) and painted these babies up!  I planted in them last night, and LOVE the result!!!

And, LAST is my sweet and sassy Sophie Del.  Her hair is something else right now, but I just love how it looks when it is all pulled back in little "stics" as she calls them (elastics).  What a sweetie!

Phew!  You made it!  Now we are all caught up!  AND, I realized I completely missed a Thankful Thursday!  So here's a little one...I am thankful tomorrow is Thursday so I can remind myself of all I have to be thankful for!  :)
