I'm warning you. This is a post of randomness. I took pictures off my phone and camera today, and found a bunch of random pictures. So here you go! I guess it's a good look at what we've been doing.
I don't even know when this happened! Jace was squealing about something behind the couch. He was mad because he couldn't reach whatever it was. We couldn't understand what he was saying it was either. So I got down for a closer look.
A fruit chew!
Once I got it out, he wanted to eat it. Since we didn't know how long it had been there, I told him it was yucky. It would give him a tummy ache if it ate it. He studied it for a minute, and then game me his "yucky face." He promptly went and put it in the garbage can.
This was Kaley's Valentine to her cousins Elyzabeth and Lolee in Michigan. Her teacher typed up what she had written out, and she thought that Michigan looked a lot like mansion. :) She worked very hard on it, and I didn't want to mail it since it was giant size, so we just took a picture and emailed it. :) Thank goodness for technology!
This is a picture from the ride home from Idaho for President's Day weekend. We saw this jeep that had a coyote strapped to the top of it. It looked like it had slid down to the back of the jeep and was now hanging off. To make it more gross, there was dried blood down the back of the jeep. It was disgusting! There was a van next to me when I took this picture that shared a "You have GOT to be kidding me, that is disgusting" look as I took this picture! Ew.
Sophie had a rough few days last weekend. She had a high fever and didn't want to sleep. This was one day after about an hour after I had put her down for her nap. She came out and said she wanted to snuggle Mommy. I thought that she had just taken a tiny nap and would be awake for good. After about 2 minutes of American Idol, she was asleep! I guess she really hadn't taken a nap in the first place!
The other day, I needed to run a couple errands at the mall. I bribed the little ones with play time on the rides if they were good. They don't need the quarters to ride these rides, they just sit in them and use their imaginations! It's really cute!
Yesterday, the sun was shining, and the weather was so nice, so we went on a walk. We found a little spot that had a flat part right next to the river so we scurried down to throw rocks. The kids loved it, and can't wait for Spring!
Josh took a few of the kids dressing up the other day. I don't know where I was!
Friday, Jace and Sophie did puzzles for a bit. I just love their little faces when they focus on doing something!
I love Jace's little "tower" of puzzle pieces.
Saturday, we went to Kaysville to visit Grandma and Grandpa and cousins. The kids had so much fun playing! Grandma made peanut butter play dough for them, they colored and did stickers, they built a fort with Grandpa, and played with Ethan and Kenzie.
There you have it! That is what we've been doing! I am caught up again on the blog! :) We are loving this little bit warmer weather and sunshine! Looking forward to more of it!!!
