These past couple weeks have been a busy blur! A couple weeks ago, I had the chance to go see Clarissa's last choir concert of the year. I didn't take ANY kids!!! These moments are few and far between, so I enjoyed every minute! At this BHS concerts, they invite the choir alumni to come up and sing the last 2 songs with the current choir. So I waddled up there and joined Lyss in the middle of all the high school kids. It was wonderful! It is so fun to sing with Lyss in her choir! She did an awesome job! I am glad that she will be in Mads next year! It is fun to share that love of choir music with her!
Another fun part of going back to the high school choir concerts, is that you see dear friends! This is Rookie (Brian) and Melissa Glad! These two are a year younger than me in school, but we were close friends! They are two of my favorite people from high school, and I am so "glad" they ended up together! :)
Next event was Danielle's Graduation!!! I'll be honest, it was long and a little boring, but hey, that's what you do for family! Kaley had a preschool class that day, so I had Josh pick her up and meet us for dinner afterward. I'm sure he didn't mind missing Graduation at all! ;) Uncle Drew, Grandma and Grandpa kept Thomas entertained during the long meeting, and Bella just chilled with me. She wasn't feeling very well, so she was pretty grumpy most of the time! We met at Olive Garden for dinner, and had a lovely time. Congrats to Dani! We can't wait to have you closer to us in the Fall!!!
The last order to blog about is Josh and Thomas' first Father's and Sons camping trip! They had a blast! It was a windy, dusty trip, but Thomas just loved it! They set up their tent, and explored a little. Josh said they had to take breaks from the dust and wind in the car and in the tent. They had dinner there that night, and breakfast the next morning. Thomas, of course, was up at 5 am and ready to go! The Bishop had a little GPS game for them to play. At the end, they found a big bag of candy hidden in a tree stump. They also went on a hike. It was a pretty intense hike, so Josh and Thomas only did part of it. Thomas loved camping outside, playing with sticks and rocks, and finding lizards! I can't believe he is big enough to be camping with Dad! He came back so dirty, and looking just a little bit more grown up!
While the boys were gone, the girls went shopping, painted our nails and watched a movie - while eating endless treats! We had to do something to help Kaley feel like she wasn't getting the raw end of the deal! I still think she would have rather been camping!
We also had another ultrasound last week! The babies are growing! They both weigh about 1 lb 13 oz. Our boy looks to be keeping up with his sister growing wise, and that is about all they can ask for! I am now 25 weeks along, and feeling (and looking) bigger than I ever got with the other 3 kids. I still manage to sleep pretty good - once the heartburn goes away - so I can't complain there! They did tell me that I would probably deliver these babies at 36 or 37 weeks, so that is only 11-12 weeks away! Yikes! Thanks for your continued prayers and love! They mean so much to us!
This is the perfect time of year for bike rides! Josh can hook up the trailer for Bella, and Thomas and Kaley ride along on their bikes. Josh has come home early a couple times and taken the kids for a while so I can rest. Other times, we will go after dinner and I will drive over and meet them at the park. The kids love it, they get Daddy time, I get alone time, and they all come home tired! It is a perfect set up! Here are a few of the pictures from last time we went over to the park. 
We have had more than our fair share of rain these days! I have had to call Josh a few times for some ideas of what to do to keep the kids happy while we are all cooped up inside. Last week, his great idea was tent time. I put a movie on for the kids, made them some snacks and we vegged. 
The first 2 weeks in June, I signed Kaley and Thomas up for a couple of summer preschool classes. They were taught by Miss Heather, who will be their teacher in the Fall. Thomas' class was a Jungle Safari/Ocean Adventure class. He LOVED it! He came home every day exhausted from it! I can't believe how much he is growing up! On the last day, he told me that he didn't want me to walk him up to the class. He just wanted to go by himself. I reluctantly said ok, holding back the tears! He waved and yelled, "Bye Mom! See ya in a while! Love you!" My heart just melted! I can't believe he is so big! 
I signed Kaley up for a Princess class. They made crowns and learned how to walk like a Princess. She was in heaven! On the last day, I let her dress up. She had the class with her little BFF Hannah. These two girls are too funny together!

Little Bella Rose is in the midst of the baby mullet stage of baby hair! Today we tried pig tails! I LOVE how they turned out! She is just such a sweet girl! 
Josh has been out of town, so I have been planning things to keep the kids busy and tired! Wednesday, we went to the Zoo! It was literally a ZOO! There must have been 20 different schools there on field trips! We still got in quite a bit of fun though! The first stop was the monkeys! These two monkeys were very social! Kaley and Thomas enjoyed playing with them! Bella was so excited, she really couldn't contain it!
Watching the elephants - it was at this point that someone there asked me if all three of the kids were mine! When I told her we were expecting twins at the end of the summer, she laughed and said I would have my hands full! Oh, the comments I get! :)
Bella is at the perfect age to take to the Zoo! She still rides in a stroller, but can see everything!!! She loved all the animals! I loved hearing her shriek at each thing she saw!

The leopard was up and walking around! He was pacing right in front of the window! We had the best spot in the house! Thomas loved it!
Our location for the Tiger was not as great. I had the kids stand on the stroller to watch the tiger move around. Thomas wanted to see the tiger the most! He did get to watch him pace around a few times, so it was a good day!
We went to the Bird Show. Our kids have not been big enough to dare try the bird show, but this year, I was brave! Bella loved watching the birds fly through the sky! I think she enjoyed it the most out of everyone! She even saw the little ones that would run back and forth in the back ground while the bird guy was talking! I was impressed! Thomas was pretty indifferent - he just liked sitting! Kaley liked the birds, and listened to what the bird guy had to say, but she was less than impressed with the big colorful bird that just screamed. If you have been there, you will know what I mean. :)
And of course, the inevitable crash! Bella zonked before we made it down the hill to the stoplight! 
When we got home, Kaley set up her little posse, and fell asleep as well! Thomas took a great nap too! Maybe the Zoo could be a daily thing?!
