Finally! Park Weather!!!!

The weather today was pretty darn good.  I'm the first to admit that this Winter has been a doozy on me.  I don't think I was this blue even after having babies!  It's been rough.  So today, when the sun was shining, we decided to make a play day out of it.  We got all the laundry folded and put away, we went to Costco and rewarded ourselves with a big ice cream treat, and then headed to the park.  I brought my camera along.  I haven't really felt like taking pictures, mostly because the weather has been crappy, cold and lame.  Oh, and so do I.  :)  We had a lovely time at the park!  Here are the pictures to prove it! 

 These two really are just the cutest friends.  

 It's crazy to see things that were impossible last year, become a simple reality this year!  They are so big now!  

 These pictures of them sliding down this "circle slide" - as they call it - are my favorites!  Such glee on their faces!

 These two are still obsessed with Tangled and Superman (from Halloween costumes).  Sophie is yelling "Tangled!" (while she is holding out her "Tangled hair"), and Jace is yelling "Superman!!!!!!"

 We are OUT of the baby swings!!!  New thing for this year - making their Momma's heart stop by letting go of the chains!  

We spent most of the day today outside enjoying the lovely Spring weather!  Everyone went to bed exhausted, and I am sure I am not far behind them! ;)

McCall's Baptism

 We had a lovely weekend in Idaho with family to celebrate McCall's baptism.  It's always fun to be with cousins and family.  Kaley and Cally were inseparable, as usual.  :)  I really hope these two can stay best friends forever!  They are the cutest together!

 Bella's favorite is Mikesell.  These two have a special bond.  Bella was SO excited to see Mikesell the whole week before we came. 

 Jace and Thomas were in heaven with all the extra big boy cousins.  Brennen, Alex and Harrison were awesome - the best big cousins to play with!  

 Here's my Mom and her siblings: Uncle Blair, Aunt Audra, and Uncle Ben.  It's never a dull moment with my fun aunts and uncles around!  

Thanks to Papa and Grandma for letting us crash at their house!  The one thing that keeps coming to mind is a quote I read somewhere:  "Grandma's house is where cousins play and become best friends." This is so true!  I love my cousins, and I'm happy that my kids are becoming best friends with their cousins!

This past weekend, Josh and I got away to celebrate our 9th Anniversary.  We stayed at a cute bed and breakfast in Provo.  We ate out, slept in, shopped, talked, went to the Temple, and had fun.  Lyss watched our kids for us.  Shout out to Lyss!  Thank you thank you!  While shopping, we visited the Children's Place outlet store.  I found these cute sweaters for $2.99 each!!!  AND I had a 15% off coupon too!  I bought each kid a new sweater, a new sweatshirt, new cozy pants, and jackets for the boys for under $50!!!!  They were thrilled our finds!  Don't they look awesome?!

The last of Basketball Season

These younger three have never had so much "screen" time!  I let them play with their friends for the first half of the hour, then I needed them sitting still by me, so I could watch the game part of the hour.  

 It is hilarious to watch/listen to these two play cards.  They have seen me play cards with Kaley or Thomas for homework.  We play speed and the highest number wins, or whoever can add them up the fastest... etc.  Well, when Jace and Soph play, the winner of the two cards is whoever comes up with the "new rule" the fastest.  :)  Sophie can talk her way into winning most hands.  :)

It was super awesome to have Dad coach this season!  We only had one or two conflicts with Scouts, so it worked out nicely!  I loved watching both kids play at the same time!  :)
