Friday and Saturday were pure bliss! We slept in a little and then hopped on the bus to Downtown Disney! We were ready to spend our "Disney Dollars." We gave the kids gift cards with spending money on them, as well as the chance to earn more money for souvenirs. So we were SO excited to go spend our hard earned money! ;) Jace really asked every day if he could spend his money yet!
We went to the Frozen store! Wow. They do little princess make overs there - and do the girls' hair (for a really pretty penny!)
We visited the Lego Store there.
Later on Friday, we went to Crystal Cove State Park. This side of the beach, we just played in the water and sand a bit... It was pretty cold and a little windy.
Then we went to the other side of the State Park where there are tide pools! I have a memory from when I lived in California as a little girl of a field trip we took to the tide pools, and I've always wanted to go back! We read that you can't take any seashells or anything from the beach at this State Park because it is all protected. The kids were sad because we found some awesome shells! So we took pictures so we could remember!

He was chilly and sandy when we got in the car, so he sat this way the whole 40 minutes to the hotel!

This is how Thomas fell asleep! Our kids crashed hard every night! It was the BEST!
Saturday was heaven! (I know I keep saying it, but it was truly the best trip!) We went to visit Cam and Rach and kids at their new home in CA. We got the grand tour of their super awesome home and yard. We ate pizza with them, and played for hours! It was lovely to visit and be with family!
Then we stopped by the hotel to get our suits and then headed to another beach! :) This time we tried Newport Beach. The sunset there was fabulous! We walked up and down the beach and pier and then sat and watched the sun set. What a fabulous end to the day and trip!
And then it was time to pack up and go home! But don't worry! I still have one more wrap up post!
