Easter Egg Hunts

We had two Egg Hunts, one at Putnam's and one at Coxes. Lots of fun! When we got home, Kaley wanted some candy from her Easter treats, but she wanted me to hide it! So I hid little treats around the house while she sat on the couch and waited. She thought that was a funny game! She even used her basket again and again!

Spring Break Fun

We went shopping at the Gateway with the girls and Grandma for Spring Break. With pizza and chocolate milk for lunch, Kaley and Thomas were happy!

Let's go fly a kite....and read a book!

We decided to take advantage of the windy city of Eagle Mountain and fly a kite! Kaley thought it was wonderful! Thomas was not impressed with the wind, so we went inside and read some books.

Literally, March Madness!

The following pictures will basically show you what has been keeping us busy! There are a few things that I don't have pictures of though. Thomas is now crawling and pulling himself up on to the couches and chairs! He also cut his first tooth! This all happened this past week!
We also had an ER visit - pictures below, and a couple of Dr. visits. Kaley has croup, and the rest of us have colds. So between trying to keep stitches dry and keeping our germs to ourselves, our house has pretty much been an infirmary!
Josh has enjoyed the nicer weather and has golfed every chance he has had! I had an Easter performance with the Lehi Choir. Young Womens keeps me busy! I love being with the girls! They are a fun escape for me! Last night we went ice skating, so it was back to old stompin' ground in Provo! Good times.

Stitches

Here's a story for you! Last Saturday, we were up for piano lessons at Grandma's house. Kaley was just coming in for a nap and tripped on the sidewalk. She hit her head on the hot tub steps. She had a big gash in her forehead. We took her to the ER, and she needed stitches. She held really still, and Mommy told her we could get an ice cream with Oreos and M&Ms on them. After a few repetitions of the ice cream bribe, she fell asleep! She was so tired! The Dr. was able to clean up her wound and stitch it up really nice. Her gash was so deep that the Dr. had to do 2 layers. She got 3 stitches under the skin and 7 above. 10 in all! I can't believe Mommy survived! It was quite a traumatizing experience! I think that I was more affected by the incident than Kaley was! We got her stitches out today and the wound has healed nicely.

Sundays in the Chair

It's kinda a family tradition to put the littlest one in the middle of our two camping chairs. We have a picture of Kaley doing the same thing when she was about this age. It just makes me laugh!

Cousin Fun

We went to the Ogden Nature Center with Chalae ( Josh's sister ) and her kids. The kids hadn't seen each other in a while, and loved playing outside together. These are pictures of them in the Treehouse. Chalae's kids are Elyzabeth and Lolee. These little girls are adorable together!

Playing at Grandma's house

As if the kids weren't worn out enough! They played outside at Grandma's house in Kaysville! The cousins helped Grandpa set up the trampoline. Thomas enjoyed the swing!

Shoe Fettish

This girl already has a thing for the shoes! She loves to walk around in our shoes!

3 years of marital bliss! :)

Josh took me on a nice date to the Temple and to The Roof for dinner. We can't believe how much has happened in 3 years!

We went to Moab with Josh for his work. We just walked around Moab looking for parks! We loved the nice weather!

Cute Kids!

January Update

Well, we survived January despite the many illnesses! I think we have had every bug going around! Even Josh caught one, so we know it was bad! Hopefully with a new month, we can keep ourselves well! I have turned into a germ freak! I carry Clorox wipes everywhere and make the kids use Purell anytime we leave a store! Some would say I'm obsessed, but I know I'm just sick of sick kids! :)

Work is going well for Josh. Ward basketball has started as well. He really enjoys playing ball with the guys. Young womens is keeping me busy. I get at least one comment every week about how I act like one of the young women! We have good times! I also had my Christmas Piano Recital this month. Our playgroup for Kaley started up again, and she loves it! She loves going over to her little friends' houses and playing with new toys! I love it because I get some adult interaction! Thomas is still pretty stationary. He just sits and plays with toys. He is definitely a momma's boy! He cries anytime he sees my back! He likes to have momma's full attention. Kaley loves to entertain him. She sings to him, and is very good at sharing her toys with him. Our family is doing very well. We are hoping for warmer weather so we can go on walks outside again!

January Pictures

A month of many presents!

Happy New Year! We had an eventful month! Kaley turned 2 years old! She loved having 3 birthdays! We celebrated at Putnam's, Coxes and then at our own house! Crystal had many choir performances and sang a solo at a couple of them. Thomas continues to have ear infections back to back and keeps us up all night. Kaley moved to a big girl bed for her birthday, and hasn't given us any problems! She loves it! She still calls it her "new bed."
Our Christmas this year was fun! We had our own little celebration at our house before we ventured out to visit our families. We got to talk to Crystal's brother, Drew, who is serving in St. Louis, Missouri, and to Josh's brother, Tanner, who is serving in Sacramento, California. It was highly enjoyable! After our Christmas Day festivities, we left on Tuesday for Island Park, Idaho with Josh's family. We enjoyed a low key, relaxing vacation with them for a few days. Kaley got to play in the snow, and got to build a snow man! She even tried sledding and loved it! We did not want to come back home to no snow! We loved the beautiful winter weather and snow covered lake! What a wonderful place!
We are looking forward to this new year and many new possibilities!
