Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for talents.  I have a goal this year to become a better photographer.  It's something that I enjoy, and feel like I have a lot to learn about it.  I started another blog just for my photography.  I am going to try to take a picture a day this year.  It's my 365 Blog. So these are a few pictures that didn't make the 365 Blog.  Bella enjoyed her mini shoot in preparation for her 4 year pics this month!  I can't believe that she is almost 4!

 I am thankful for my sisters!  I went to Danielle's shower with her roommates and friends last night.  It was so much fun!  I can't believe my little sister is getting married!!!

 Dani had to eat 14 pieces of Double Bubble Gum!  

These are the girls that threw the shower for Danielle : BriAnne, Dani, Jessica, and Alysse.  Cute girls!  

Today, I am especially thankful for Josh.  It is his birthday today!!!  

Happy Birthday to my Sweetheart, best friend, father of my children, and love of my life!  Love you Babe!

Big Girl!

 Sophie is thrilled to be starting potty training!!!  I can't say I am though.  I am dragging my feet a bit with her.  I feel like she is ready, but I am going to hold off entirely until after the wedding.  No use complicating that day with accidents in dresses and tights.  :)  She loves to sit on the potty though!  So stay tuned for after next week, when I announce (hopefully) that Sophie is successfully potty trained. :)

 I love the seat mark on her legs.  :)

 The kids were being silly while I was making dinner last night.  I had to snap a few.  :)

 This is the routine.  Glad to be back in it.  Kaley reads her book to Thomas and Bella, then Thomas reads his book to Kaley and Bella.  

Trafalga

Monday, we went to Trafalga for something fun to do!  The kids had fun mini-golfing.  :)  Here's a couple pictures from our outing. 

Twister

 We have 9 am church now.  We LOVE it!  What is going to take some getting used to though, is all the time we have together in the afternoon.  So Josh entertained the kids with all kinds of games and things.  The kids got a kick out of Twister.  Here are a few pictures.  Do you not LOVE this picture of Bella?

 Jace came in from the other room when he realized something crazy was going on.  He really didn't know what to think about it!

New Year's Eve Party

 New Year's Eve is usually just like any other night at our house, just with more treats and games.  Everyone still goes to bed at normal bedtime.  It's just better that way, for now.  :)  We started off our evening with home made pizzas.  The kids love making their own pizzas, and we are perfecting our pizza recipe.  Then we played our new game that Drew and Em gave us for Christmas - HedBanz.  It was a fun game!  Each person has a card on their head, and they ask questions to figure out what is on their card.  

 When I saw this picture, I had to laugh!  I told Josh, "No wonder people ask me if the kids are mine!  I look like I'm 12!"  

 Then we played bubbles.

 One of our treats was movie theater popcorn.  :)  My favorite!  Our theater here dropped it's prices super low, so you can get a large bucket for $3!!!  

 Then we bundled up for some fireworks!  We had a packet left over from July, and we were hoping it was still good.  It did not disappoint!

Then we came inside and warmed up with showers.  After everyone was clean and dressed, the kids watched Cars 2 while I made donuts!  

And, everyone was in bed by 7:15 pm.  Just how I like it!
