For the 4th, we started the day off with a hike. This trail is the best hike! It is super short and sweet, with cool logs and side trails for the kids. There is a waterfall and wet puddle at the end. We let the kids wear their swim suits under their clothes so they could get really wet!
These two had to sit on every rock and stump on the way up and tell me to take a picture. I didn't complain!

Our good friends also met up with us on the trail. This is one of my BFFs, Lacie.
We laugh because we have a picture of this same spot 4 years ago on the 4th of July! That is Bella and her Jake in our front packs! It is crazy how times have changed! :)
What is it about these brothers pictures that makes me smile?! They are too stinkin' cute!
