We had a lovely week in Island Park! It was super fun this time with so many cousins and aunts and uncles there. We missed the Cleverley Crew and Tanner's bunch. We had one of the best "on the lake" trips we've ever had there. There was not a whole lot of time in the cabin this time around. We had a good storm one day, and lots of sun! The kids played on the boat, rode the mabel, swam in the lake, kayaked, waterskied, kneeboarded, play on the beach, went treasure hunting, and had SO much fun!
There will be many posts from this trip, as I took over 2100 pictures. So enjoy while I re-live the fun of our summer Island Park trip!
These cute girls became the best of friends super quick! Tricia brought her boyfriend and his two daughters this year - it was so fun to have them join the ranks of girls!
We did our Island Man a little different this year - we did an activity every day. The first was the swim. Almost everyone participated! We swam across the lake and back! The kids only swam across. It was pretty fun! Don't get me wrong, we had our share of tears! Kaley had just gotten out to dry, and was super dramatic about getting back in. :)
It was quite impressive to see all those people swimming in the lake! Grandpa and Grandma stayed close by in the boat so that no one would get run over. Even I swam there and back!
