So, Wednesday my kids came home from school saying that it was the "best day ever!" They both had stories of leprechauns that had come into their classrooms and messed things up, hidden chairs, and left footprints every where. Naturally, the rest of the day consisted of setting traps to catch a leprechaun. :) This is what they came up with. Note all the GREEN books, GOLD objects, and LUCKY CHARMS. These are the things that leprechauns like.
They spent all day in the play room waiting for the leprechauns to come and get caught in their "trap." When they woke up the next morning, the leprechauns had come and took all the Lucky Charms!!! They had spread out all the pictures that the kids had drawn for him, and spread out all the GREEN books and things. The kids LOVED it! This leprechaun must have been broke because he didn't leave any tokens for the kids, but he DID turn our milk green! Thomas was not a fan at first, but when he realized it still tasted the same, we were good. :)
Here are MY Lucky Charms! (it is nearly impossible to get all of them to look at the same time, but they looked darling in all their green!
