November Notes
Hello! This month has been a busy one! It has been a blur of sick kids, doctor appointments, choir rehearsals, young womens, work and family! We were able to spend Thanksgiving with Putnams. It was weird to just have Mom, Dad, Danielle, Clarissa and our family, but it was nice. Work has kept Josh busy. He had to travel a bit this month, once to Moab, and once to Vernal. Crystal is adjusting to the increased involvement in Young Womens. She loves being with the young women though! She also starts performances with the Lehi Choir this month, so she is excited for that! Kaley and Thomas have had their fair share of winter sickness. We had a scare with Thomas this past week. We had to have his chest/lungs x-rayed. The Dr. was concerned he might have pneumonia or bronchiolitus. He is okay though. He has also had a couple ear infections, which make for sleepless nights! We are working on getting us all better for this fun Christmas season! We are looking forward to the upcoming month with Kaley's 2 year birthday and the fun Christmas activities!

Fall Fun!
What a busy October! We started out with another cousin wedding! Stephanie and Ryan were married in Salt Lake, and we loved sharing their special day with them! We went to Idaho with Putnams for UEA break. We spent time at Muldoon and at the Ranch in Jerome. Kaley loved playing with her cousins and seeing all the new sights! She loved the cows and horses that cover the plains of Idaho! We took the kids 4-wheeling at Muldoon. It took Kaley a little while to warm up to the idea, but she eventually loved it! Back at home, we started walking in the mornings, so we bundle up the kids and go lookin' for fun! They just put a gas station a few blocks from our house, so we like to walk to the gas station and get some treats!
This month, we also had our ward Fall Fest activity. Josh is the activities chairman, so we were glad that went smoothly. Josh counted, and we figure there were over 200 people there. We had the kids dress up in their costumes, and we had a carnival for them. It was a hit! Halloween this year was pretty low key. Kaley had a stomach bug for a week before, so she is just barely getting over it. Thomas was also just getting over an ear infection too. We didn't let the kids trick or treat to the neighbors or anything. We did take them up to the Grandma's and Grandpa's so they could see how cute their grandkids are.
Josh and I are doing good. Josh is working hard and keeping busy. I was asked to be the pianist for the Lehi Arts Choir. They have a few performances in December, so we practice once a week. Josh has been helping with the kids so I can be involved. Also, I was "promoted" in the Young Womens. The 2nd counselor moved, so they asked me to be the new 2nd counselor. I love the young women, so this has been an excellent chance to be more involved! Josh is getting used to being Mr. Mom while I go to meetings and dig into Young Womens more and more!
The kids are good and almost all the way healthy again. When we took Thomas in to the Dr. for his ear infection, he weighed 20 lbs! He is starting to roll over, (which is quite the task for all 20 lbs of him!). He talks all day long in his own little language - just squeals and gurgles. It's so cute! Kaley loves being his big sister! She takes good care of him. She loves to tell me when he is sleeping in the car. Then when he wakes up, she squeals and says, "Awake!" "Oh, Hi Dude!" It makes me giggle every time! She continues to sing and loves music! We also started a little play group with 5 other ladies in our ward. They all have little girls that are around Kaley's age. Kaley's favorite movie right now is The Little Mermaid. I thought I had the movie memorized before we bought it! I guess it was my favorite movie when I was little, so what did I expect?!
I think that about does it! That's our little world in a big nutshell! I hope everyone is doing well and keeping warm!
