Bella's First Day of Kindergarten!!!

Bella started Kindergarten today!!!  Here are a few pictures from the morning.

3 kids in school!

We have been riding our bikes/scooters/rollerblades to school in the mornings.  I had to snap a picture of my crew.  

 We inspect, then usually squash, all the snails on the trail.  :)

 Bella was thrilled that her bff Libby is in her kindergarten class.  

 No tears were shed this day!  Bells was so excited, and I really was pretty excited for her, so it was smiles all around!  

The twins and I took our time walking home.  We made a snail family and the carefully placed them in a tree so they wouldn't get squashed.  :)

 Then we stopped under the bridge for a bit to throw rocks and hang out.  

Caught Up!

I am all caught up on this blog!!!  And the Clubhouse blog!!!  I really wondered if this day would come!  So, keep scrolling down, hit Older Posts, and enjoy the documentation of our awesome end to Summer!  Also, peruse our Clubhouse blog to see how things are coming along there!  We are hoping to be moved in before my birthday in less than 2 weeks!  Busy, busy times ahead!  We have 3 soccer games each Wednesday/Friday, soccer practices, Activity Days, piano lessons, school, dentist/dr appts, and Primary Program prep going on right now, so there really is never a dull moment!  Thanks for reading!  Wish us luck!

Football

For the past couple Sundays, after dinner we sit in the back yard and toss around the football.  The kids all love it, and I decided to document it this past Sunday.  Here are a few pictures.

 Thomas' tongue is hanging out in almost every picture.

 The red above Sophie's eyebrow is blood.  From her knee...  She was doing somersaults.  :)  

 Thomas even practices doing fancy cuts across the yard.  

Just capturing a little bit of the everyday life around here.  Aren't these kids precious?  I think so.

The Grotto Trail

Saturday, we went on our favorite little hike to the Grotto trail.  It is the perfect little hike and has a cold water puddle at the end with a water fall.  We do it every year and love it!  Kaley isn't in these pics because she was on the trail at the bottom with Dad with a tummy ache. :(

First Day of School!

The first day of school kind of snuck up on me this year!  We were ready for it, but I was a little sad to see our fun days of summer end.  We really had a great summer.  We spent so many hours at seven peaks, playing at splash parks, getting wet with friends and swimming at grandma's pool.  It really was the perfect summer!  That's not to say that the kids weren't ready for the routine of school!  They were thrilled to wear their back to school clothes and hang out with their friends again!
