The Swing of Things

Here we are! Another week down!  I felt a little better about this week - a full week of school.  It has felt like I've been running in circles since school's started. I haven't felt like I've had time to myself, time to really do anything "fun" - and this week I got one day! 

I helped with a lunch for the soccer team.  I brought Costco pizza. Such a cute group of girls!

Bells had picture day! She looks so grown up!  Thomas' looks weird - he texted me a pic and it looks like his hair is skunked!  Black and white.  So I think we'll have to do re-takes for him. 

Pictures from the game last week at MMHS. A good win! Kaley has been playing more Defensive Wing and is rocking it!!!! She is sad she's not scoring, but likes getting to boot it, and is fast at chasing down the forwards on the other team.















Pops and Grammie came down to watch the girls all play this week.

Back to School and a DOUBLE BIRTHDAY!!!

We can't believe it's really here!  We can finally go back to school!  Jace and Soph had their "back to school" visit via Youtube.  Their teacher posted a video with a walk around their classroom.  We did a 7th grade day with Bella, and met all her teachers. I took T over to the Jr High to just walk through his classes, and he's good.  I took Kaley over to the High School during the day because she was going to miss Sophomore day because of a soccer game.  Busy!

Kaley and her friend Megan were named team captains for the Soph/Fresh team.  :) 

Back to school blessings.

Birthdays!!!!  We opened presents before school, and then got the First Day of School pics done on the porch.  It made for a crazy morning!

Kaley - 10th grade, Sophomore. Dropping this girl off at the high school was something else!  We learned a trick or two, and the 2nd day was much easier!  I can't believe I have a high schooler!!!

The technicians helped make these cute backdrops for pictures for the first day of school.  There were no parents allowed IN the school, so the photo ops were outside!  The teachers waited outside to greet their classes.  The whole thing was orchestrated very smoothly!

No tears for me not the first day!  I think I was just so excited to see my kids so excited!  They could not contain their excitement to see friends, and teachers and be OUT! 

Lunch recess duty every day for Me! It is bizarre how they have to do it this year with covid restrictions.  1st goes at 11:10, 4th eats outside at 11:20, 2nd eats inside at 11:30, 5th eats outside at 11:40, 3rd eats inside at 11:50, and 6th eats outside at 12. There are a lot of kids everywhere all the time!

I didn't get any pictures, but I combined with the Primary Presidency for the Cookie Party this year.  It was so fun to have them with me! 

We came home and swam with friends after school!

We forgot to give the twins one present, so they got it after school!  They played on them the rest of the day!

These people were SO tired after that long, fun day!  They seriously looked like they'd been hit by a truck!
