Work Adventures

One day last week there was a serious hullaballoo on the playground! There was a BAT! It was clinging to the wall, and a little first grader kicked it off. Maureen helped dispose of it - she put it in a bag and then in the garbage can, but kids started rummaging through the garbage to find it to see it, so we moved it to the dumpster! Just wow. 

The same recess, a little girl brought this handful of worms to me. Ew.

I went on a field trip to Jakers with my 2nd graders! I took a big group from Mrs. Moody's class.



This was the muddiest wagon tractor ride I've ever been on! 




This group of kids didn't get the usual Zoo field trip at the end of Kinder, and had NO field trips in ist grade!  Hooray for field trips again!!!

Primary Program

Our Primary Program this year was amazing!!!  I made up these pumpkins and faces for the kids to decorate for each song. The practice went so well, and the program went off without a hitch! I sure love this calling! It is the best to get to serve with DeDe and Rachelle!

School Things and A Day Off!

DFMS took the kids to Classic for a 7th Grade Citizenship award day. Love these pics from Sophie!

Our yard has beautiful fall leaves! 

The kids had no school on Friday, so I surprised them and took them to The Puppy Store in Orem! They LOVED it!!!

Fall Break in Island Park

We went to IP for Fall Break this year! We visited Yellowstone and it was snowy! We helped this van out of a snow ditch.

Saw so many bison.

Did a little cold hiking.

At the cabin, the kids fished, played games, and watched movies. 























Even I caught a fish! 









Trevin was also at IP with his family, so he came over to fish a while with everyone. He stayed for dinner and made it a real party!
