Twinning and School

For my Primary calling, we started something called Corona Caroling!  DeDe and I recorded and posted a video of us teaching a song for September. Each week, the kids can practice singing the song with their families, then come visit us on the last Sunday and Corona Carol to us!  It has certainly brightened my week!

More jump rope fun!

Kaley and her friend Kate twinning one day at school.

We ran into Miss Nelson at soccer one night!  She was our favorite 2nd and 3rd grade teacher for Kaley and then Thomas!

More twinning at school!  Some soccer friends on dress up day for game day.

I can't even tell Soph and her friends apart sometimes at lunch recess!  Can you, with all that lovely hair?!  Caeden, Soph and Madi. Love those girls!

Water bottle line up at Soph's soccer game.

Jace and Sophie's teacher is the best!  She loves Harry Potter and has a Sorting Hat in her classroom to sort the kids into "houses" just like HP!  Jace is in Slytherin (no surprises there!), and Sophie is in Hufflepuff.

We went to Bentley and Sawyer's soccer games this weekend!  They are so fun to watch!  Our cheeks hurt from laughing by the end of Bentleys'!

And Thomas got stung by a bee at Danielle's house. His arm may or may not have elephantitis.

A visit to Idaho!

Soph got a cute new jacket the other day, and was SO excited to wear it!  She was loving her style this day!

Working hard at school!

Thank heavens for the "mask break" station!

This weekend, we got away to Idaho for cousin Kelly's wedding reception.  Since the reception wasn't until the evening, we made plans to go visit Redfish for the day!  It was chilly, but such a wonderful time!  We got to see Austin and Amy and kiddos!

We went on a hike to the beaver ponds

When we got to the meadow and the beaver lodges, it started raining!  It has done this EVERY time we have done this hike.  It is beautiful though!

We bought new sweatshirts at the Store.

Danced in puddles

T and Dave got ready to dive in the lake - they were so excited to practice their deep diving and try to find "stuff" down at the bottom of the lake.

We ate Gazebo fries - the best!!!

And had ice cream.

It really was like we crammed a whole vacation into 5 hours there!  We hit our favorites, and then rushed back for the reception party!

They had a cute ring ceremony - they had already gotten married the weekend before and were able to be sealed in the temple!  A rare thing during this wacky Covid time!

My favorite part of the ring ceremony was when they all were walking down the aisle - Adam, Kelly's twin brother, carried a sign behind his back that said, "I loved her first."  So sweet!

We were SO tired and hungry by the time we got back to the Ranch.  Look at that starving herd of kids!

Papa pulled out Jace's loose tooth!  It is the BEST when Papa pulls out a tooth, because the Tooth Fairy brings $20!!!

Such a lovely weekend with family! We have missed being in Idaho with all of them!  We hadn't been to the Ranch since January!
