September update

Wow, I just did a mega posting! I don't realize how many pictures I take until I try to pick just a few to share! Our September was quite busy! We are doing great and are loving this cooler weather! It is funny - half our picture are in summer clothes and the rest are bundled up good! So fun!

Thomas continues to grow at an incredible rate! He is such a happy baby! The rolls under his chin are never-ending! He is a good eater and a good sleeper. He loves playing with Kaley and going on walks in the stroller and wagon.

Kaley has become my little songbird. She loves to sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider", "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam", "No, No, No" - from High School Musical, the "Hello" primary song, and "Popcorn". She says "Hi" to everyone she sees when we go anywhere! She has also taken to carrying around her stuffed animals everywhere. She has three favorites: "Bun-bun", "pig-pig", and "bear-bear". It seems like she is learning 10 new words a day! She is a parrot, and repeats everything I say! She is also getting sneaky. She likes to hide in the cupboards and closets when I am not looking! What a fun stage!

Josh and I are doing good! Josh is keeping busy with work and school and life! I scrapbook, play with the kids, and enjoy Young Womens. Last week, I taught the young women how to tie baby quilts. We will be taking them to the Humanitarian Aid Center. That's pretty much it! Hope all is well with all of you! See you soon!

Thomas loves to play in the exersaucer. Posted by Picasa

Kaley's second football game. She loved watching the ball. Her favorite part was the band at half time. She watched them in awe! She definetly has a love of music! Posted by Picasa

Labor Day Vacation

For Labor Day weekend, Josh had to go to Moab for work, so we decided to go with him. We stayed in a hotel with a pool, so the kids loved that. We went for walks and swam while Josh was working. Then at nights we went sightseeing and shopping. On Saturday, we went to Arches Nat'l Park and hiked to the Delicate Arch. We drove around and saw the beautiful sights there. We also drove to Canyonlands Nat'l Park and saw the scenery there. What a wonderful place! Here are some pictures from our trip! (We had to get a new camera because I dropped ours and it broke, so we went out of control on the picture taking!) (We also bought a new car after our last trip in August - we decided we have too much stuff and too big of carseats for a sedan! We love our new Pilot!)

Thomas and Kaley are all ready to swim! Posted by Picasa

Kaley loved hiking around the red rocks! So much to explore! Posted by Picasa

We had so many stares as we hiked up to the Arch - it was a 3 mile round trip hike. There was even one Asian man that took our picture, to take home to show how crazy we Americans are! We got a kick out of that! We must have looked like quite the sight! Posted by Picasa

All set for the hike to the Arch! Posted by Picasa

Here we are at the Delicate Arch! What a hike! Posted by Picasa
