Redfish Lake - Part 5

The Best 4th of July ever!  We have never been at Redfish for a 4th of July, and I'm not sure I want to live without it again!  We spent time on the beach in the morning after we had packed up all our stuff and got out of the cabins. I loved all the flags everywhere!

We soaked in the last of the mountain rays.

Jumped off the dock a bunch of times.

And then the National Anthem was sung, and tears sprang to my eyes.  What a great country we live in!  Surrounded by beauty and family, my heart couldn't have gotten any fuller!
Except it did!  When the kids rode in the Redfish Parade!  They loaded up on the trucks with my cousins and threw candy along the short parade route through the campgrounds.  What a memory!  I will never forget that day!

Then we listened to music on the front lawn, ate our parade loot and chatted with people.

Then, sadly, it was time to go home.  Not before extending the trip just a little longer by stopping at the Sawtooth Fish Hatchery.  We had never stopped before and saw the biggest fish jumping out of the waters there! T is loving fishing, so this was a fun stop for him!  He tried to fish in the river for a little bit, but no bites.
