This week

 This week has been kinda slow.  It was week 2 of potty training Jace, and he is still getting over this sickness from you-know-where.  He has been a peach through it all though.  :)  

I snapped a few pictures of Sophie doing her "morning job."  She likes to clean up all the dropped cereals off the floor - Sophie style.  She eats them.  :)  It is a great little job for her and she thinks she's quite good at it.  

 Bella had a play date this week, so it was just me and the twins one morning.  We played out on the tramp for a bit.  These two are just cute little friends.  

That's all I have for this week.  I have felt like I have been battling back the sickness from you-know-where for a few days, and then Friday night it hit hard.  I didn't sleep that night and was in bed all day Saturday.  Lucky for me, Josh is Dad of the Year, and let me sleep and chill all day.  He played with the kids, kept them quiet, did yard work, took them on a bike ride to the park, played "tiger" on the tramp, and made pancakes for dinner - WITH homemade syrup.  I don't know how he did it!  Oh, and he picked me up a Frosty on the way home from dropping of my Redbox.  Yup, I married the BEST!  

Today, I am home sick from church with Jace, who still has a nasty cough.  We will be playing trains, watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Little Einsteins, and having snacks with juice.  :)  Now, back to my baby boy...  

Catching a Leprechaun

The week before St Patrick's day, my kids are obsessed with building a leprechaun trap.  This was their contraption this year.  I'm not sure how they think it will actually catch the sneaky guy, but you will notice LOTS of things to draw him in!  There is green/gold/sparklies everywhere.  

 They use the green blanket, with lots of notes and pictures for the leprechaun, a rainbow book collection, dresses with gold sparkly on them, lucky charms, green crayons, and a green lizard.  :)

 The next morning...

The Leprechaun had eaten only all the marshmallows from the lucky charms, and spread the rest of the cereal on the track.

 When Kaley saw that he had left them a note, she said, "My dreams came true!"  She had been hoping for a note all week from the Leprechaun!  

 Leprechauns like to make a little mess too.  He made a rainbow with their crayons.  

 Played with the Barbies and then left them lined up.

 They were thrilled with their Leprechaun visit this year!  

Jace has been sick all weekend, and Thomas was just fighting off the last bit of it.  It was all high fevers and coughs.  I stayed home from church with the boys, and we just hung out and watched movies.  Today, Thomas was good to go to school, and Jace is fever free with just a tiny cough.  We are back to potty training him again.  We've got to be getting close to a break through with this guy!  He just holds it for hours and is not phased by accidents.  If he doesn't break this week - I will!  :)

Zoo Trip!

On Friday, the kids didn't have school so we went up to the Zoo.  We called Grammie to see if she wanted to come with us.  We had so much fun!  The twins are at a fun age to take to the zoo.  They watched everything with awe.  I am loving my camera still, and love capturing their little faces as they observe the world.  

 This little monkey came right over to the window to look at Jace and Grammie.  I LOVE his face in these pictures!  

 Of course, we brought a picnic lunch.  

 The tiger was pacing up by the fence.  

 The kids each then took a turn showing me how the tiger roars.  

 Yes, his face melts my heart.  

 It's no wonder people look at me like I'm crazy.  These kids all look like they're the SAME SIZE!  :)

 Once again, while visiting the gorillas, we were educated in more than we bargained for.  Naturally, the kids hadn't forgotten about the last time we were at the zoo, and the gorilla pooped in his hand and then ate it.  So we went in there expecting the worst again.  We were not disappointed.  THIS TIME, there were two gorillas sitting on a branch.  One pooped, the other one scooped it up and ate it.  Lovely.  Can you guess what was the highlight of the zoo trip?  Yuck.

 These next few pictures might melt your heart.  I just adore being mommy to these crazy ones!  

 Yep, this one on the elephant makes me cry.  They are so stinkin' cute.  I can't believe that they are all mine!

 We went on the train ride...

Jace loved the idea of the train ride in theory, but once he was on it, he got super quiet and just was a little wary.  Sophie was quite curious and soaked everything in!  These two are just so funny to watch!  I love their little differences and similarities!  It's kinda fun to have twins.  (Did I just say that?!)  

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Cox for giving us the Zoo pass for Christmas!!!  We can't wait to go MANY more times!  Thanks to Grammie for coming with us on our crazy last minute adventure!
