What does the Monkey say.....?

I took this little video of Bella trying on her costume the other day and HAD to post it! This is so cute! It is kinda funny that she is a monkey for Halloween this year, because I do call her "monkey." Enjoy my sweet little Bella and silly Thomas!

Carving Pumpkins

Here's our usual FHE carving pumpkin night! Thomas was really into digging in the pumpkin. Bella was pretty grossed out by the "guts" of the pumpkin. Kaley was a good helper this year, and actually scooped out guts too! This year, we did a Boys pumpkin and a Girls pumpkin. The Boys' has a Y of course, and the Girls is "cute" and has a bow. :)

Jace and Sophie - 2 Months Old

At 2 months old, Sophie's stats are:
Weight: 11.6 lbs - 72nd%
Height: 23 1/2 in - 90th%
Head Circumference: 39 cm - 60th%

At 2 Months old, Jace's stats are:
Weight: 11.0 lbs - 38th%
Height: 22 in - 20th
Head Circumference: 38 cm - 12th%

Basically, we have growing, healthy babies! I am no longer nursing or pumping - it proved to be too difficult! They do awesome with the formula though, so we couldn't be happier! Sophie is actually growing really fast! The percentiles are based on babies that were born at 40 weeks. Since ours were 35 weeks, they are both doing great! Jace's growth curve is steady, just a little slower for now. I'm sure he'll catch up! They are both just so cute and loveable! We really have such good natured babies! They sleep great, usually waking up once to eat then falling right back asleep! Couldn't ask for more! We do have our rough days, but we are doing pretty good!

The leaves are falling down...

We went up to Grandma and Grandpa's house to rake and play in their leaves! Our trees aren't big enough to really give us any leaves to play in, so I told the kids we would go help out Grandpa with his leaves! They couldn't wait! They loved raking them up, and then jumping in them!

I love Thomas' face in the background! He is sneaking around to get some more leaves to throw!

Bella was NOT very impressed with the leaves in her hair! She would help pick them out of everyone's hair! So sweet!

Grandma and Lyss with the babes

I think I will forever LOVE this picture! I have VERY few pics of my Dad with my kids, and this one is so sweet! My parents are such good grandparents, and I want to have pics to document all the fun things they did with their grandkids when they were so little! Ah, good memories! I think they really love being grandparents! Can you tell?!

Zoo

I have been dying to get to the Zoo to see all the baby animals there for a couple months now. So, I recruited my mom to come along and we visited the Zoo on Friday! Hooray! The kids did really good! The babies were awesome! And, we even had a picnic lunch!

Seriously, I could have taken this baby elephant home! (as if I don't have enough kids!) She is the cutest "little" thing! We had fun watching her!

There was also a baby giraffe! All I can say is that I am glad to be a human giving birth to little 6-8 lb babies - not 6 feet tall babies! Sheesh!

We saw the little baby tigers, but could get them to hold still enough to take a picture...sound familiar? :)

We rode the merry go round - a definite highlight!

And, of course, the train. The 3 minute ride is worth every penny to see the look of delight on Thomas' face! He LOVES trains!

A trip to the Zoo isn't complete unless you play at the park! All the park pics are on Grandma's camera though. I was feeding the babies. Thanks for coming with us Grandma!

Pumpkinland

On Saturday, we went to Pumpkinland as a family. We had a blast! The kids loved seeing all the animals, sticking their heads on silly bodies, seeing all the pumpkins, and playing on the blow-up toys! It was perfect for our little kids! Once again, the twins were angels in their stroller!

I think we have a new family tradition! :)
