Family Night with Friends

Monday night, we went over to some good friends' house for Family Night. We had such a good time! Our kids played so fun together! It was a little windy, so the party was moved inside.

Jace is getting SO mobile! He crawls everywhere and is now pulling himself up on things! Ava had this little table that he LOVED playing with!

New Carseats

Our babies out grew their infant seats! We switched Bella up to the extra car seat that we had, and bought another rear facing one. We had to go for a little ride on Sunday to try them out! They liked it! It will be harder to let them have bottles in the car though, since they are sitting up right more. Also, it seems less comfortable to fall asleep, although Sophie did on our short drive. :)

Fathers and Sons Camping

This past weekend was the Fathers and Sons camp out with the Ward. They were lucky because it was over the "free fishing" day too! Josh bought a couple fishing poles, and they were off! Thomas had so much fun fishing! He came home and told me all about it. I asked if he caught anything. He said, "No. Just alot of weeds." :) He had fun hanging out with Dad and getting dirty! Oh, they came home so dirty! Josh said that Thomas was asking every 20 minutes if it was time for bed yet. I don't know if he was just really that tired, or just really that excited to sleep in the tent! Glad my boys had fun!

Mother Maffia

My Neighborhood Mother Maffia
(That is what my mom called the moms that we grew up with. They would all sit outside and chat while we played, and now I do it with my kids!)

This is my life.

And I love it!

Every afternoon around 3 o'clock, our neighborhood starts hoppin'! We all generally gather in my yard. We spread out the blanket, and visit! It is the BEST part of my day! The kids usually play so nice together too. We have about 25 kids on our street. That doesn't count the neighbor kids that swing by to play as well! I love how fun our street is! It is good to have such good neighbors and friends! Bella is loving to play with her "girlfriends." Kaley usually has a friend come play because she is now one of the "older" (can you believe 5 years old is "older") ones. Thomas is still on the line, but loves to play with all the littler kids! I'm sure he will be asking for his friends soon!

That 3-6 pm is the hardest time of the day for me, and my ladies on the street help me get through it! Josh always says I am in a much better mood if we get to play outside!

Here's to MANY long days of Summer and TONS of OtterPops!!!

Jace is getting tubes!!!

I considered us pretty lucky when the babies didn't get sick for the first time until they were 5 months old, but since then, I think we have had everything! For Jace, any cold stays in his ears and causes ear infections. He has had 5 ear infections in 4 months. Poor kid. (and poor Mommy and Daddy!) So, I took him in for a consultation visit to get tubes this week. We are set for tube surgery on June 14th! Hooray! Only a week away! Wish us luck!

Clarissa Graduates!!!

Hooray for Lyss! She is all graduated! Time to party! We met the fam up at Olive Garden for some yummy dinner! The babies snacked on coasters. :)

Pinewood Derby

For those of you who don't know, Josh is a Cub Scout leader for the 8 year old boys in our neighborhood. The Cubs had their Pinewood Derby this week, so we went to watch! Thomas was thrilled to see all the cars! He can't wait to make one! :) The track was VERY high tech, and each car was timed so there was really no dispute about which car was the fastest! The guy who built it had it down to a system. This year it only took about 15 minutes and everyone had raced and a winner was declared.

Last weekend, after all the yard work was done, we let the kids run through the sprinklers. I don't think it was quite warm enough really, but they had fun!
